Managementertainment was built on the belief that great spaces don’t just host people—they shape culture, shift energy, and leave an imprint. We don’t build venues for the sake of four walls and a sound system. We build places that mean something. Places that people talk about, return to, and remember years later not for what they drank—but for how they felt.
Founded by Vlad Cood, Managementertainment is the result of decades spent on the front lines of nightlife, hospitality, production, and underground innovation. Vlad isn’t a passive owner—he’s a hands-on builder with a visionary edge. From rewiring soundboards and designing furniture to managing 300-person crews and inventing language that became global (yes, PLUR was his), he’s done it all—and he’s still doing it.
What sets us apart is our obsession with feeling. Every Managementertainment project starts with a single question: What do we want people to feel when they’re here? From there, we reverse-engineer the architecture, lighting, layout, audio flow, staff training, and environmental design until that feeling is built into the foundation. We don’t chase trends—we create frameworks that become movements.
Our portfolio stretches from the beloved grit of Butter, one of San Francisco’s most iconic dive bars, to the adaptive community-focused design of Buzzworks, to the upcoming sensory immersion of MegaBuzz, a venue where LED architecture meets nightlife and digital art. Along the way, we’ve launched festivals, run legendary undergrounds, resurrected nightclubs, built brands, and helped shape entire subcultures from the ground up.

Vlad Cood is a builder, a visionary, and a lifelong architect of experience. With over three decades in nightlife, entertainment, and culture-making, he’s launched legendary venues (Butter, Buzzworks), pioneered West Coast rave history (Feel Good Entertainment, Home Base), and coined a phrase that became a global ethos (PLUR). Whether he’s managing 300-person crews or designing immersive LED spaces from the ground up, Vlad leads with instinct, grit, and clarity of purpose.

He doesn’t follow trends—he builds frameworks for people to feel something real. Vlad approaches every space as both an engineer and an empath, designing environments that invite connection, reflection, and release. Whether it’s the raw electricity of a 20,000-person warehouse rave or the layered intimacy of a velvet-lit lounge, his work is rooted in emotional architecture. Outside the world of nightlife and production, Vlad is a devoted husband to his wife, Jennifer, and a proud father to their son, Maxwell.
